01 / DATA IS ENCRYPTED
All your data is encrypted before being uploaded into the system. You can get it only with a password.
02 / DATA IS SPLIT INTO PIECES
Once encrypted, your data is split into many pieces. Each piece is stored separately from the others and duplicated several times. It is impossible to recover the information from any encrypted piece.
03 / PIECES ARE DISTRIBUTED
Pieces of data are distributed across storage nodes. Each part is stored in multiple nodes. If one node is not available, you will still have access to the data. Unlike cloud storage, there will be no outages, downtime and data breaches as there is no single storage node.

LOST FLASH DRIVE
Etherus flash drive doesn't store your data, it just gives you quick access to distributed file storage. When you connect a USB flash drive, the system asks for a password. Without it, access to data will be impossible. Therefore, if you lose a USB flash drive, no one will be able to access the data through it.
DATA PROTECTION
Hackers will not be able to steal information from your computer. When you remove the USB flash drive from the computer, the system logs out instantly. From this point on, the data is available neither on the computer nor on the drive. Access to it is possible only with a password.
URGENT ACCESS
Your data is distributed all over the world, but you can access it as soon as you enter your password. If one of the storage nodes is unavailable, the system instantly takes the necessary part of the file from another node. The Etherus system does not have a central storage node that will lose data if it fails.
HOW TO SET UP

CONNECT THE FLASH DRIVE
Connect the USB flash drive to your computer and unlock the system.
4.
CHANGE THE PASSWORD
You must be the only one to get the password, so change it from inside the system.
2.
SET UP THE SYSTEM
Set up your language, region and time zone. Create an account.
5.
ENTER THE APPLICATION
App
Launch the Cryptomator app and log into your storage.
3.
Log in
The system connects automatically. Log in with your password.
6.
USE THE STORAGE
You have unlocked the storage. Now you can work with it as with a regular folder.
